You can transfer (port) your number to another provider anytime—with no fees and no restrictions.
Important Porting Requirements:
Your number must remain active until the porting process is complete.
Phone numbers require active service to remain assigned to you—canceling before porting may result in losing your number.
Ensure that your toll-free number is active with your current provider before initiating the porting process as inactive numbers cannot be ported.- Wait for confirmation that your number has been successfully ported before canceling your current service. Canceling too early can disrupt the porting process.
Your account details, including the number being ported, must match the records held by your current provider. Any mismatch could delay the process.- Avoid making changes to your service details or terminating contracts prematurely before the porting process is confirmed complete.
You can cancel your account or transfer your number to another provider anytime without penalties.
