My caller ID setting is set to "Virtual Office Number." Why is a strange number appearing instead?

If you have the Caller ID setting to "Virtual Number" AND you have the call announcement feature enabled, the Caller ID you see will NOT be displayed as your virtual number. The Caller ID will appear on your phone as a "strange" number.

This "strange" number may appear as a 9-12 digit number instead of your Unitel Voice virtual phone number. Pay attention to the last digit(s) of the number - it is showing what extension the caller pressed during the greeting. Once you've identified what extension the "strange" number represents, we recommend you save that number as a contact in your phone under the extension's name (for example, "Sales Department"). When someone calls your Sales Department, you'll see it as the Caller ID display on your phone.
