How long does it take to add toll free texting to my service?

After submitting your 10DLC or toll-free texting signup form, activation typically takes 7-10 business days.

Why Does It Take This Long?

Due to increased industry regulations and compliance requirements, 10DLC and toll-free texting registration now take longer than in the past. The process involves:

  1. Carrier & Regulatory Review – Mobile carriers and regulatory bodies require verification to prevent spam and ensure compliance.
  2. Business Use Case Validation – Your request is reviewed to confirm that it follows messaging guidelines and is not used for prohibited content.
  3. Manual Approval Process  Unlike previous automated approvals, 10DLC and toll-free texting now require manual verification, which adds extra time to the process.

What Happens After You Submit Your Request?

  • If approved, you will receive an email confirmation, and texting will be activated on your 10DLC or toll-free number.
  • If additional information is needed, we will reach out via email with instructions.
