Who owns the numbers that are assigned to me by Unitel and can I port or transfer them?

With Unitel, you are not renting your number or under any contract that locks you in. You are the valid owner of your number(s) as long as you are in good standing (i.e., there are no balances on your account). 

You can transfer your toll-free or local number(s) to another provider anytime – no strings (or fees) attached. To port your number to a new carrier, it will need to stay active before porting. Phone numbers need service to stay assigned to/owned by you. 

You can cancel your account or port your number to another provider anytime.
